How to install Geant4 at Mac big sur
- Version : Geant4.10.7
- Prerequisite
- CMake
- ROOT
- qt
- if you don't have this, please install by “brew install qt”
- Add export PATH=”/opt/homebrew/opt/qt/bin:$PATH” at your ~/.zshrc
- Download source file
- Move to your directory which will be installed in your mac
- get “geant4.10.07.p01.tar.gz”
- tar -zxvf geant4.10.07.p01.tar.gz
- cd geant4.10.07.p01
- mkdir geant4_build; cd geant4_build
- cmake -DCAMKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=./ ..
- make -j8 (if you have 8 cores cpu)
- make install
